Back In The Game

My name is Vance House. Master gambler, luckiest man alive, astonishingly good looks, and up until recently homeless. But ignore that last part, because I'm living with my cousin now. He's got me set up with a new laptop, my own couch, everything a recently homeless guy could want.

But how could the luckiest man alive be homeless? Well, nobody is lucky all the time. And even though I'm the luckiest one, I can still run into a spot of bad luck. I made an extremely risky bet one night, and for once it didn't pay off. One thing led to another after losing my money, and I ended up on the streets. But I'm not worried. I've still got great luck with games of chance, and now that I've got a home to work out of, it's time to get back in the game.

I got some money from my cousin, he doesn't think that I'm going to use it on gambling. He would object to it, but once he sees how much I multiply his cash, I'm sure he will see things my way. He also doesn't know about this blog, of course. I'm not stupid.

Tonight, I'm hitting up a local casino. Gonna start small again, but one day, I'm going to be among the millionaires. And that's what this blog is for. To tell my story, my rise from the streets to a penthouse in every city in the world. Vance House. Remember that name. It's gonna be a big one.

    1. Freelance my luck? I'd love to hear your ideas on that. Profit is a good thing.

  2. I think you have a problem, my friend.
Although you seem to be getting back on your feet, that's good.

    1. Some might call it a problem, I suppose. But for a very long time, it was a blessing. And I hope that I can get it that way again.
